The Carol Pollock Camp Travel Fund
is available to any girls or units camping at a Provincial camping site, such as Heritage or Can-ta-ka-ye.
Who may apply:
Girls attending a camp at one of the provincial sites on an individual basis.
Units who are camping at either of the provincial sites, on their own, or as a part of a larger event.
Criteria
Preference will be given to applicants whose distance from home is at least 150 km, within Saskatchewan.
Applicants must have approval from a Unit Guider for individual girls, or from a commissioner for units/groups.
Units/groups receiving assistance will be eligible to apply again in 3 years.
Individual girls may apply annually.
The fund will cover 75% of travel costs to a maximum of $50 for girls and $500 for groups.
Applications forms are available from the provincial office (1-877-694-0383), the Saskatoon Area Office (306-652-3275), or from your camping adviser. Since the fund is limited, applications are subject to committee approval. Early applications are advised. Applicants should submit their applications to the provincial office at least 8 weeks in advance of the camp for which funds are requested, and no later than June 1, 2009.
