News in Aurora District:

Welcome to the Aurora District Girl Guides!  We have units ranging from Sparks through to Rangers in Brevoort Park, Eastview, Hugh Cairns and new this fall, Dundurn!!  A huge welcome to our sisters in guiding from the Twilight District who will be merging with Aurora this fall. 

Our district has over 120 girl members, 40 leaders and a ton of energy!  Several events are planned for our district for the upcoming year. 

Sept. 25^th – Girl Guides Hike the Meewasin Trail – more info included in fall mailout or online

First week in October – all units 1^st meetings (leaders will contact you with specific dates and times)

October 29^th – Brownie Fairy Sleepover – more info TBA

November – possible District Camp – more info TBA

March 24– Aurora District University (Guides)

The 3^rd Rangers plan several area-wide events for every level of guiding over the year.  Please watch for information coming out in regards to when and where these special events will take place!

Several more sleepovers, camps and events are in the planning stages and information will be sent out in a timely manner.
