The 1st Warman Sparks are making a difference!

1. On November 28th 2009 the 1st Warman Sparks helped the Town of Warman prepare for their annual  Warman Winterfest.  Their day started at 9:00 am, meeting with the Town Program Coordinator to make 200 loot bags!! The loot bags were for all of the children that came to Winterfest.  They used stickers, pencils, erasers, candies and Christmas oranges. The girls had a lot of fun making the loot bags.  Their highlight was being able to hand them out with Santa in the afternoon!! The Sparks even had their picture taken with Santa and it was put in our local paper the Clarks Crossing Gazette. Unfortunately I could not get a copy of it to be posted with these photos!! Leaders involved were Janet Giesbrecht, Kristi Dennison and Hollie Logue.  All girls in these photos have an image release.

2. In mid-December 2009, the 1st Warman Sparks collected items for the Friendship Inn in Saskatoon. They collected 5 big bags of clothes, two bags and one box of toys and books. They also purchased 2 boxes of oranges to donate to the organization at Christmas time.
