To help build activity risk awareness, and consistent planning processes and documentation requirements, any Girl Guide activity can be classified within one of three color coded activity assessment levels:

 Green ● Yellow ● Red

• consult the most current version of the Safe Guide - available on the National Website by clicking the link below.
• Complete the check list on page 14. If your activity is Green - go and have fun, if it is Yellow or Red - a member of the Provincial Assessment team must assess your event
• For yellow and red - complete the forms as indicated in the Safe Guide. Send all by email (below), fax or mail to the provincial office. Include all fully completed Safe Guide forms as well as documents such as kit list, schedule, copies of pertinent certificates
• The Assessor will contact you with any questions and finally with approval, usually by email. Attach the email to your SG3 to show it has been approved.
• Forms must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the event for Red
• Forms must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the event for Yellow
