Service Projects
Some ideas of service projects that units could participate in:
Stamp Collecting – save used commemorative postage stamps and donate them to the 1st Trefoil Guild c/o Ellen Saunders. Please trim stamps with a ¼” margin; pop them into an envelope and when the envelope is full, bring to the Guide office.

Learn the skill of writing thankyou cards
Random acts of kindness – leaf raking, snow shoveling etc
Cleaning up the neighborhood park or streets or school yard
Visiting a Senior Citizens home – to sing, take cookies or homemade cards, sing Christmas carols
Valentines for Vets – www.vac-acc.gc.ca
Discuss acts of service with the girls that they could do on their own at home or for friends and neighbors
Yellow Fish Road (Sept/May)
Tim Horton’s Cleanup Day (May)
Collecting pennies for CWFF (Canadian World Friendship Fund)
Collecting a food item from each girl to give to food bank/needy family/church group etc
